ATTY. JOSEPH J. KLEIN
BIOGRAPHY

Joe is a 1963 graduate of Marquette University High School and attended the University of Wisconsin graduating in 1967 with a B.A.
degree in Economics and Political Science. As an undergraduate he received a 4 year Evans Scholarship and was the 1st VicePresident
of the Inter-Fraternity Council. He attended the University of Wisconsin Law School and received a J.D. degree in 1990. He is a current member of the State Bar of Wisconsin, the American Bar Association and the Dane County Bar Association. He is a licensed Real Estate Broker and a State of Wisconsin certified Real Estate Instructor. In his career, he was also a State of Wisconsin licensed Appraiser and Assessor 2.

Since 2004 he has been the Operating Member of Kleinlaw, LLC which operates as the Klein Law Office.

Joe’s wife Lesley is also his office manager. They have two children and in June of 2018 will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary.

Joe has been active with the Boy Scouts and was a former Scoutmaster of Troop 13. Joe is a member of the Wisconsin Basketball Boosters and is a past president of the Mendota Gridiron Club.

The Klein Law Office specializes in Real Estate Law, Business Law, Wills and Trusts and Estates. Joe has also been teaching Realtors their continuing education since 1990.

In 2017, he was the co-Master of Ceremonies for the UW Class of 1967 50th reunion banquet.
